During her training, she developed a special interest in skin cancer medicine and she subsequently focussed her post graduate training in improving her skills in skin cancer medicine and minor surgical procedures.
In 1996 Adrienne commenced her training in General Practice and completed her examinations in 1998. In 1999 she was admitted as a fellow to the College of General Practitioners. She continued to work in general practice with a special interest in skin cancer medicine. This included providing skin cancer checks, skin cancer detection, treatment options and education about the prevention of skin cancers.
She has continued to attend workshops and education conferences to improve her skills in the area of detection and new treatment options for skin cancers.
Adrienne also has a special interest minor surgical procedures for non skin cancer lesions, such as small cysts.
