Dr Adam Boyce is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP). He completed his medical oncology training at Prince of Wales and Royal North Shore Hospitals in 2002. He moved to Lismore NSW as the first permanent oncologist for the region. After initially working as a staff specialist Adam established a private practice, Oncology North Coast, in 2005. This private clinic provides oncology consultation for a regional population of approximately 200,000 people. He holds VMO appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital Lismore, Lismore Base and Grafton Base Hospitals. He is the principal investigator on multiple collaborative and industry sponsored clinical trials. Adam holds an appointment of Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He is actively involved in undergraduate medical student education, through the University Centre for Rural Health in Lismore. In 2012, Oncology North Coast became the only private practice to have an advanced trainee medical oncology position in regional NSW. Adam is an accredited superior of core medical oncology training through the RACP. Adam is also a member of Medical Oncologists of Australia (MOGA), the Cliniclal Oncology Society of Australia (COSA), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia (PCPA), and Australian Medical Associations (AMA).
