Brendan Mooney has been working as a Psychologist for over 10 years and offers counselling to adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. He also offers coaching services to businesses and corporations including workplace seminars and presentations.
With a genuine interest in people's well-being, Brendan brings a warmth, practicality and an equality that supports clients to truly address underlying issues and blockages that are preventing them from moving forward.
A firm advocate for the power each person has over their own choices, he sees daily that the ability to make lasting change is in fact simple and can occur at any stage in a person's life.
Working with people with a broad range of mental health conditions he is similarly seeing many more people who do not have a specific condition but who simply want to deepen their lives and relationships in some way.
Brendan provides support to people experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship issues, anger, grief and loss, physical pain, children and adolescent issues, and many other personal difficulties.
Brendan is a registered provider with Medicare, NDIS, Workers Compensation, CTP, TAC, DVA, and private health insurance companies.
Brendan has won several awards, the most recent being at the Enablement Awards 2019 for the Most Outstanding Psychology Services Provider in Australasia.
Brendan is a regular presenter at national and international conferences and publishes research in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Applied Neuropsychology.
Whilst Brendan is a Psychologist based in Lismore, New South Wales he offers online psychology services worldwide and travels nationally and internationally for workplace seminars and presentations.
