Brenda has over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents across a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma and stress, relationship difficulties, abuse, dealing with chronic illness and pain, workplace stress and coping with loss and adjustment. She has also specific interests in women’s issues, Health Psychology, Occupational Psychology and couples counselling.
Brenda works with her clients to provide support and empower them towards improved self management and positive change. She uses evidence-based interventions, predominantly Mindfulness Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is experienced in workplace issues, delivering EAP services to a range of organizations and running women’s group programs. She is a registered Health Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
