The Autoimmune Resource and Research Centre (ARRC) (previously known as the Scleroderma Lupus Autoimmune Resource Centre) was established in 1989 to provide education and support to individuals with a range of systemic and organ-specific autoimmune syndromes. The centre, funded by donations, Sponsorships and contributions from Staff Specialist Funds, provides specialised services such as patient education through education seminars, information packs, research and individual education sessions. The service also offers individual psychological counselling for patients and access to innovative research and novel diagnostic tools and therapies. ARRC coordinates educational and support meetings and illness specific seminars annually.
