Associate Professor Brian Chambers is a Melbourne University graduate who trained in Neurology at the Austin Hospital, National Hospital for Nervous Disease Queen Square (London) and Sunnybrook Medical Centre (Toronto). He has over 30 years clinical and research experience. His clinical interests include stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and vestibular disorders, and he provides expert opinions in a variety of medico-legal and insurance scenarios. He has hospital appointments at Austin Health, where he is head of neurovascular ultrasound, and Warringal Private. He is a principal fellow of the University of Melbourne Department of Medicine. Previous appointments include President of the Stroke Society of Australasia and Associate Director of the National Stroke Research Institute. He has published more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals. When not working he enjoys spending time with an ever-increasing family, cycling, golf, and escaping to the countryside for some fishing.
