Alison has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. She has over 6 years experience helping families, parents, children and teens in a variety of clinical settings. She has worked within adult mental health, perinatal & infant mental health, child & family health and adolescent services within the public sector. Alison assists adults to address problems such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, difficulties managing strong feelings, sleep and parenting. She helps children who are experiencing social difficulties, anxiety, school refusal, difficulties with anger, low self esteem, attachment difficulties and behavioural problems.

Alison’s work with parents involves supporting them to find their own effective style of parenting. She has a particular interest in helping women struggling with mood and anxiety during the antenatal and postnatal period. She helps women who are having difficulty adjusting to parenthood or experiencing parent-infant relationship difficulties.
