Adelaide Eye Care
Established in 1982 by Mr Anthony Phillips as a part-time practice in Belair. As the practice grew, Anthony moved the practice to Westbourne Park, and due to local demand, opened the Blackwood branch some years later. Mr Rene Malingre and Liz Capper took over the practice in 2003, and continued the tradition of providing personal, professional eye care to the local community. After identifying that the services we provide are in short supply north of the CBD, and that a large number of our patients traveled from the Northern Suburbs to see us, a branch at Mawson Lakes was opened in 2008.

Being an independent practice, we have access to a bigger range of spectacle frame manufacturers, contact lens designs and lens manufacturers, ensuring that the products and optical solutions we offer are the best available for the best value. We rely on our patients and customers returning, and recommending their friends and family - our longevity and growth is a reflection of satisfied patients.

As well as providing routine eye care, we have certain practice specialties, notably contact lenses and children's vision. We are a referral destination for ophthalmologists and optometrists for care of people with keratoconus and corneal grafts, and for behavioural optometry care.
