Dr De Silva graduated in 2004. After Graduation, he worked as a critical-care doctor and part-time General Practitioner. Since 2009, he worked in Liverpool, Campbelltown, and Camden hospitals as an emergency doctor. Then he worked as a full-time general practitioner in Oberon since 2013 and provided his services through Oberon Medical Centre and Oberon Hospital.
Dr De Silva obtained his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. He holds a Diploma in Child Health, and has a keen interest in skin-cancer surgery.
He works in all areas of General Practice with special interests in men's health, chronic-disease management, emergency medicine, palliative care, minor surgery, and skin-cancer surgery. He also works at Gunning Community Medical Centre as it's principal GP and Provide his services to the local community. Apart from that, he also used to supervise junior doctors who work towards their fellowship exams.
