"I’m Steff, an accredited practicing dietitian and provisional sports dietitian. I started with Eat Smart as in intern in my final year of my master’s degree, where the team taught me so much about practical nutrition advice to achieve real, life, results. And this is what has been a driving force for me ever since the beginning.
I work with athletes on training plans, to achieve desired body composition results, fuel training and competition appropriately, and also educate on how to change nutrition depending on training load. As a teenager/ early twenties, I played a lot of sport, and know first-hand how difficult it can be to fit in training, work/study and a nutritious diet. Which means I have tried and tested it all, and come up with solutions!
Not only do I work with younger athletes, but also greatly with older females, those who may not want to exercise at all. And that’s okay! I too struggle to get out of bed most mornings to hit the pavement for a walk. So I have upskilled in the area of weight loss for women going through menopause, for those who need a little help and just don’t want to exercise how they used to. If you feel as though you have tried everything, and don’t feel like you have got anywhere, I can help you find the right style of eating for you, without compromising your social life! Because that really is the most important part!
I am passionate about good, tasty food. I love to cook, when I have time. And I love to share with others quick, easy recipes so you too can throw something together that the whole family will love, without spending hours (that you don’t have) in the kitchen!
