Murray Kovesy - Myotherapist
Murray's love and passion for Myotherapy stems from his abilities to help and understand his clients personal needs. Through gaining a medical history and appropriate assessment a tailored treatment plan is prescribed. His professional hands on deep tissue focuses on pain management, injury prevention and postural correction. Whether it be overcoming acute or chronic pain, stress management or striving for sporting greatness his dynamic skills and clinical approach have been crafted over the years from working with various health clinics, gyms and sporting teams.
Murray is currently working with the Hawthorn Football Club and enjoys treating athletes but also finds treating chronic pain in the general public just as rewarding. Seeing many conditions including areas of the lower back, shoulder and lower limb he has special interest in neck pain and headaches. Murray find the use of Dry Needling for stubborn trigger point if is highly effective with pain, restriction and tigtness.
Murray has completed a Bachelor of Health Science - Clinical Myotherapy from the Southern School of Natural Therapies. He is a full registered member of Myotherapy Association Australia (Formerly IRMA). Outside of work Murray enjoys everything about health and well-being from being active in strength training, running, cycling, swimming and personal nutrition.
