Dr Zheng (Jerry) Wang was born in a coal mining city in China, with only 4 million population (small for a Chinese city!) and obtained his Medical Degree there.
He migrated to Australia to join his girlfriend, now wife and they have a lovely daughter.
After arriving in Australia he completed a Masters of Public Health at Monash University, then spent 6 years working at Monash Health in different specialties including medicine, surgery, emergency, women's and child health. He enjoys all aspects of medicine and is a strong believer in preventative medicine.
Dr Wang has recently completed further training in adolescent health and is doing the Doctors in Senior School program with the Department of Education.
Outside work he enjoys being with family and playing various sports e.g. swimming, basketball and badminton.
Dr Wang also speaks Mandarin.
