I studied at Shanghai Medical University (now Medical School of Fudan University) and graduated with bachelor degree of medicine in 1985.

My first job was to work as a resident general physician in a large municipal hospitl in Shanghai.

Since 2001 I had worked as a resident medical officer and a relieving medical superintendent for several QLD and NSW hospitals.

I received AMC certificate in 2004 after having sucessfully passed australian medical council exam.

I have been working in general practice since 2005 including 3 years of general practice and rural obstetric training.

I was awarded a Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2008.

I have been working at Parkwood Family Practice and Highland Health Centre since 2008.
