Dr. Simran Mangat graduated from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom and completed postgraduate ophthalmology training in Birmingham, Liverpool and Yorkshire including subspecialist training in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery.
Whilst Simran provides general ophthalmic care to adults and children he specialises in eyelid plastic surgery, surgical treatment of watery eyes, eyelid cancer surgery and small incision cataract surgery.
Simran has published in peer reviewed journals and has delivered a number of presentations at internationally renowned conferences. He has ongoing research interests in oculoplastic and cataract surgery.
Simran has recently relocated from the United Kingdom to Tasmania with his young family and is enjoying living in Hobart.
