Ruth obtained her post graduate medical degree in 2012 from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle with a Dean’s Award for academic performance. Following this she completed her Intern year at the Rockingham Emergency Department and the old Fremantle Hospital. She then moved to Bunbury and worked in the Emergency Department, Paediatrics and a brief term in Obstetrics.
Prior to becoming a doctor, Ruth was a nurse specialising in Paediatric Intensive Care, hence her keen interest in Heart Kids, Special needs children and premature babies. Ruth has a family of all boys and enjoys the chaos this creates. She loves spending quality time with her family, swimming, camping, bushwalking and trips to the beach.
