Dr Drielsma is a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. His medical degree was completed at the University of Sydney in 1982, during this time he also completed a Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr Drielsma trained in General surgery becoming a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1990. He then entered advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Sydney qualifying in this discipline in 1993.
Following Plastic and Reconstructive training in Sydney, Dr Drielsma spent 3 years in overseas in post-fellowship training including and on his return to Australia in 1996, Dr Drielsma commenced practice in Canberra, ACT and Bondi Junction, Sydney. He is now based in Sydney. Dr Drielsma has a vast experience of Cosmetic Surgery of the Face, Breasts and Body contouring. Dr Drielsma has lectured widely to medical and nursing groups in relation to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery.
