Dr Paula Averbuj is a non-invasive cardiologist and nuclear medicine physician who is interested in all spectrums of clinical cardiology with a particular interest in women’s health and nuclear cardiology.
Paula completed her medical training at Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1998 and went on to complete her cardiology training at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, a centre of excellence in South America. She obtained specialist recognition in 2003.
Paula migrated to Australia in 2003, where she completed further training in internal medicine and cardiology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She was awarded fellowship at The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2009.
Dr Averbuj has many years' experience of consulting in both the public and private sectors in Adelaide. She consults at our Ashford and Norwood locations.
