Dr Olivia Gobbo is a Consultant Geriatrician. She trained in Melbourne after graduating from Melbourne University in 1986. She received her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1994 and has worked as a Geriatrician and General Physician since that time.

Dr Gobbo is an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University, a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and also a college examiner. She is also a member of the Australian & New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM) and recently joined the executive sub-committee for the Association.

Dr Gobbo is a member of the Australian Medical Association (AMA) and is on the Senior Medical Staff Executive for Southern Health. She has an appointment as a Geriatrician on the Caulfield Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) team. Until recently she worked on the Caulfield Aged Care Assessment Services (ACAS) team and has a good working relationship with community providers in the area.

She currently holds sessional appointments at both Southern Health and Alfred Health.

Dr Gobbo's areas of interest include cognitive impairment and dementia, falls, frailty and medication management in the elderly. She is happy to perform Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments on patients if these are requested by the referring doctor.
