Prof Matthew McDonald provides a comprehensive Neurosurgical & Spinal service based at Calvary Wakefield Hospital, Adelaide, Australia. We have a dedicated Neurosurgical Ward and Theatre team. Our operating theatre has the latest technology and equipment, and is supported by a large Intensive Care Unit. The hospital has the only 24 hour private Emergency Department in Adelaide. All patients have private rooms. Prof McDonald is also a Visiting Medical Specialist in the Department of Neurosurgery at Flinders Medical Centre. Prof McDonald does provide a regular county clinic at Kincraig Medical Centre, Naracoorte in the South East, to Injury Hub, Gawler in the Barossa and to Port Lincoln on Eyre Peninsula.
