A graduate of the University of Sydney in 1991, Dr Rabin Has had extensive experience in anaesthetics, sedation and ICU. He has worked as an Anaesthetic Registrar and then subsequently as a Career Medical Officer in Anaesthetics and ICU at Wollongong Hospital. He also spent 8 years working at Strathfield Private Hospital and as an ICU Career Medical Officer before commencing his current position as a Gastroenterological Sedationist.
Dr Rabin has had experience in many aspects of anaesthesia including, Induction and maintenance of a General Anaesthetic, Epidural and Spinal Anaesthesia, Intubation, Arterial and Central line placement and Resuscitation. He has also many years of experience in caring for the critically ill and postoperative patients.
Dr Rabin holds advanced life support certification, which he renews on a regular basis. He is also personally interested in Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Tai Chi, Meditation and Hypnosis, which he has studied in Australia, China and Taiwan.
Dr Mark Rabin is a full time Gastroenterological Sedationist. He has worked at Healthwoods Specialist Centre since January 2008. He also works as a gastroenterological sedationist at Bondi Junction Endoscopy Centre.
