Clinical Associate Professor Louise Nott completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) at the University of Tasmania. She received FRACP in internal medicine in 2005 and Medical Oncology in 2006. She worked as a Fellow at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide before returning to Hobart and working as a Staff Specialist Medical Oncologist at the Royal Hobart Hospital since 2007and in private practice since 2012.
She holds an Honorary Associate Position Sydney Medical School and University Associate with the Menzies Research Institute in Tasmania. Louise has a strong interest in clinical research and has published widely. She has been a Principal Investigator/Sub investigator on over 50 oncology clinical trials. She also plays an active role in medical oncology education at both undergraduate and Australian fellowship training level.
Louise has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of cancers and is dedicated to providing excellence in cancer care for her patients and families.
