Dr Lesley Stainkey graudated from the University of Queensland in 1981 and attained Fellowship to the Royal Australian Collee General Practitioners in 1989. Lesley has always been involved and committed to education of patients and colleagues believing that knowledge and communication are the key factors to help us engage in processes that will lead to the best health outcomes for individual patients and our community.
She has worked in general practice in Townsville for 27 years and still enjoys the variety and complexity of general practice and happily works across all areas from paediatrics to geriatrics, including women’s, men’s asolescent and mental health.
