Lara holds separate degrees in Medicine and Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool (UK), and gained her GP qualification in Australia, after working for a number of years in different hospitals including Alder Hey Children’s Hospital (UK), Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women. Lara is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for her patients through thoughtful listening and keeping her medical knowledge up-to-date, regularly attending external educational events. She aims to provide a friendly and professional service, and is keen to optimise the mental and physical well-being of all patients. Lara is an AMA-accredited Youth Friendly Doctor and member of the Australian Menopause Society. She has postgraduate certificates in Women’s Health, Sexual & Reproductive Health, Skin Cancer Medicine/Dermoscopy, Aesthetic Medicine and Child Health. Her most recent training has been in the area of Aesthetics, and can provide skin peels, microneedling and wrinkle-relaxers, with possibly more scope in the future. In her personal life, Lara enjoys going to the gym, playing piano, singing in a choir, dancing, travel and spending time with her family and friends.
