John is a local UWA graduate who has completed his Fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP). His medical interests focus on preventative health, including contraception, vaccination, quitting smoking, exercise, preventing heart disease and diabetes. John provides a range of GP surgery procedures. He has further qualifications in sexual health and family planning, including long-acting reversible contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (Implanon, Mirena and non-hormonal Copper IUDs). He has training in skin cancer medicine and surgery; performing full dermoscopic skin & mole checks, biopsies and excisions. John is an instructor for the Australian Resuscitation Council's Advanced Life Support courses and a supervisor the Western Australian General Practice Education and Training group.
