Dr Jessica Roediger is a Consultant General Paediatrician who is interested in diversity and family-centred care. She completed university studies at Flinders University, Adelaide. Seeking a breadth of experience she spent 2 years in Darwin as a medical student and following internship left for Europe. The 2 years spent at Children’s University Hospital (Temple St) Dublin, Republic of Ireland was incredibly formative. Jess then returned to Australia to train at the Children’s Hospital Westmead. To gain greater experience as a generalist she completed a Fellow year at The Canberra Hospital, ACT. Jess comes with many years experience working in paediatrics throughout Australia, with a particular focus on Rural and General Medicine. Jess is employed at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick as a Staff Specialist within the Rural Locum Service, working in the country to provide relief for rural paediatricians. Jess is a welcome addition to the multidisciplinary service at Sydney Paediatrics, and is available to see children of all ages.
