I am an experienced rural GP who graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1987 before graduating from the Flinders University in 1997 in Medicine.

My interests include obstetrics, women's health, paediatrics, men's health and sports injuries.

I work in conjunction with ICARNET and run the Exercise Stress Test program for the rapid assessment of chest pain.

I have a particular interest in Women's Health and currently accredited for the management of complicated Obstetrics at the Naracoorte Hospital.

Actively involved with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) as the representative for all rural GP's from 2002 to 2009 and was awarded the distinguished Service award for his services to the college.

Currently the chief examiner for the Diploma of Obstetrics exam in Australia for the past 6 years as well as being an examiner for the exam since 2002.

I have also been actively involved in the ongoing education of doctors throughout Australia with the organisation of Women's Health educational days held throughout the country.

Examiner of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), a member of the RDASA and was vice president from 2014 to 2016.

Currently Principal Medical Officer of Naracoorte Health Service.

Interests outside of work include cycling, squash, fishing and camping
