Dr James Wong has been a practicing cardiologist since 1985. After graduating with honours from the University of NSW in 1977, he underwent postgraduate training at Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals. He specialises in general adult cardiology, angiography and heart failure and his clinical interests include coronary disease, hypertension and preventative cardiology.
A regular speaker in educational seminars for doctors and the community, Dr Wong also mentors medical students and young doctors via the AMA mentor scheme, and has vast experience in adult clinical cardiology.
- Dr Wong is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, and a Member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
