General Practice

Graeme graduated in Manchester in the UK and subsequently went on to train as a general and orthopaedic surgeon before deciding to become a GP. He felt a family life complemented with family medicine was a much more fulfilling pathway. After achieving his post graduate qualifications in surgery and general practice, he decided that the best way to amalgamate the two, was to achieve post graduate qualifications in dermatology and skin cancer management. This led to the option of using a lot of his previously learned skills as an adjunct to general practice and providing extended services to his patients. Subsequent qualifications in education meant he was able to pass on knowledge and skills to the next generation of generalists.

Graeme’s primary aim is to provide an excellent, evidence-based level of care in a generalist setting and provide extended services to his patients in an attempt to cut down on specialist involvement.

He will be involved in all aspects of care from early antenatal to aged care and utilise his extended skills in all these areas.

Graeme is a dance dad (He doesn’t dance just provides the finance) to his daughter and a offsider mechanic to his son.
