Graduated from the University of Sydney in 1981. Dr Bennett has a Diploma of Obstetrics and a Diploma of Anaesthetics. He moved to Mudgee in 1992 to work in General Practice and as a VMO at Mudgee Hospital performing casualty, general medicine, obstetric and anaesthetic roles. Geoffrey travelled to Antarctica from July 2004 to December 2005 as an Expedition Medical Officer. He enjoys cycling and travelling to scenic and untamed locations.
