Dr Emily Watkins grew up in Canberra and completed her medical degree at Griffith University in 2015. She then completed her general practice training on the NSW South Coast, obtaining RACGP fellowship in 2021. Emily has moved back to Canberra to raise her young family.
Emily has interests in women’s health and children’s health, particularly contraception, pre-pregnancy planning and pregnancy care. She has completed a Masters of Reproductive Medicine and a Graduate Certificate of Women’s Health, and recently has completed additional training in paediatrics through the Sydney Child Health Program. Emily enjoys the variety in general practice and feels privileged to provide continuity of care to patients and their families.
