Female Gastroenterologist, Dep obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2002. She completed her gastroenterology training at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, followed by a clinical fellowship in Hepatology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2011. Dep is a staff specialist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and a visiting gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Broken Hill Base Hospital. She is a clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide and continues to be actively involved in both education and research. Her research interests are in gastrointestinal physiology and nutrition in liver disease. She has presented at both national and international conferences and was the recipient of the Douglas Piper Young Investigator Award in 2015. In addition to the management of general gastroenterological disorders, Dep has a particular interest in chronic liver disease, including viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease. Dep received Conjoint Committee recognition for endoscopy and colonoscopy in 2011, and also performs liver elastography and liver biopsies. Dep consults at:
