Originally from England, Ben studied Medicine at the University of Nottingham, graduating in 2012 and completed his residency in the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.
Since 2015 he has been based in Port Macquarie and has largely worked in the Emergency department at Port Macquarie Base Hospital before spending time working at the John Hunter and Mater Hospitals in Newcastle, gaining extra experience in Psychiatry and Obstetrics.
He loves Port Macquarie and the surrounding region and has been part of a local church, AFL and baseball teams, as well as catching the Port Macquarie triathlon bug. He lives in town with his wife, Elise, who is expecting their first child in mid 2019.
