Dr Khunteta is a General Adult Psychiatrist with a special interest in Perinatal Psychiatry and cross-cultural psychiatric issues. She has been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Australia since the beginning of 2008 at Redcliffe Caboolture Mental Health Service.
She originally trained in India, for Undergraduate (MBBS) and Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD in Psychiatry) prior to coming to Australia in 2004.
Dr Khunteta became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in February 2008. She also has an academic position as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Medicine at Northside Clinical School, University of Queensland. She is currently the Academic Head at Redcliffe Caboolture Mental Health Service, training medical students
