Graduated in 1981 with honours from Sydney University. He was a student and intern at RNSH then spent subsequent years furthering his training at St Vincent’s Hospital, St Margaret’s Hospital for Women, Royal Newcastle Hospital and the Mater Hospital, the National Maternity Hospital in Auckland and Rotorua General Hospital, before coming to Mudgee in 1989 to join the Mudgee Medical Centre. He has undergone post graduate training in Obstetrics and Paediatrics gaining Diplomas in each. He also has a Diploma in Dermatology and started the Mudgee Skin Cancer Clinic in 2004. He works in the Accident and Emergency Department at Mudgee District Hospital as part of the on-call roster and has been a VMO since 1989 providing services to inpatients and obstetric patients. Tony has 3 daughters and a son who were born in Mudgee. His other interests include golf, travel and keeping fit and he tries to run the City 2 Surf each year.
