Dr Tony has been working in general practice in Darwin’s CBD since 1984. Since 2008 he has focused on occupational medical work, particularly work related injury management. He is currently a medical inspector of seamen for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, a Norwegian Maritime Authority approved seafarer’s doctor, a Vanuatu approved seafarer’s examiner, a Malaysian Marine Department medical practitioner and a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. He is also recognized by the South Pacific Underwater Medical Society (SPUMS) to perform commercial standard diving medical examinations. He performs mannitol provocation tests for the detection and assessment of asthma.
Tony enjoys surgical assisting and has been trained in many aspects of weight loss surgery including adjusting lap-bands.
