Amir first commenced his employment with the National Health Co-op as a registered General Practitioner in 2015, following extensive work experience in his home country of Iran, as well as some research and clinical experience in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Dr. Kosarnia practiced as a GP and Emergency Physician in Moora and Northam in Western Australia and briefly in Yass, NSW.
Dr. Kosarnia obtained his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He is also a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada. Amir is also a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds an AMC certificate.
