Dr Aiko (Tiarni) Tomita. completed her B. Medicine at University of Newcastle in 2002 after obtaining Bachelor of Applied Science at Queensland University of Technology. She gained her RACGP fellowship in 2012. Tiarni has worked as a GP in Sydney and rural NSW, as well as working in South Yarra and Southbank in Victoria. In her spare time, she worked for University of Oxford and completed her PhD in medicine in 2015. She is appointed as Visiting Associate Professor for Tokai University in Japan. Tiarni speaks fluent English and Japanese. She has lots of experience in providing medical care for people from non-English speaking background as well as local residents. She enjoys seeing variety in General Practice. Her particular interests are: Mental Health, Family Planning, Sexual Health, Contraceptive advice ( trained implanon provider ), and Women’s Health
