Kevin has over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Kevin completed his Psychology Honours degree in 1998 and obtained his Master of Clinical Psychology degree in 2003 at the University of Queensland. Kevin utilises evidence-based treatments and incorporates techniques and tools from a wide variety of therapeutic approaches.
Kevin has worked within primary schools, supervised Masters students as a Clinical Teaching Fellow, and worked at the Northern Rivers Area Health Services as a Clinical Psychologist within Child and Family Counselling. In various roles, Kevin has conducted clinical psychological assessments, implemented psychological and behavioural interventions, and facilitated group parenting programs and group anxiety programs for children. He has also co-facilitated an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Men’s group and an Asperger’s Group. Kevin has spent the past 12 years in private practice in NSW.
Kevin’s practice focusses on the specialised treatment of all emotional and behavioural problems associated with children aged 12 years and under. He works with a range of presentations, including but not limited to: ADHD, anxiety, depression, anger, aggression, trauma, sleep difficulties, Asperger’s/ASD, oppositional and defiant behaviours, grief and loss, self-esteem.
Kevin provides services for adolescents and adults experiencing mental health difficulties such as stress, anxiety, depression, and sleep problems.
Kevin is also trained in clinical hypnotherapy, the behavioural management of Bipolar Disorder, treatments for PTSD, drug and alcohol problems, and Schema Therapy for personality disorders.
