Josephine is a Clinical Psychologist who works at Anxiety House Sunshine Coast. Her work days are Tuesday to Friday.

Josephine holds a Masters of Clinical Psychology from the University of the Sunshine Coast. She has experience working with clients in both the private and community sectors and has worked in both regional and rural settings. Josephine has a passion for supporting people to see their strengths, develop confidence, and break self-defeating patterns of thinking and behaviour. She is influenced by the principles of recovery-oriented practice which include creating a sense of hope and celebrating the uniqueness of people and their individual values. Josephine is warm, authentic, and non-judgmental in her approach, and believes it is a privilege to be a part of her clients’ journeys.

Josephine has a background in working with people who experience severe and enduring mental health issues. She is experienced in providing services to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and is passionate about using a multidisciplinary team approach. Josephine has a special interest in working with adults with Borderline Personality Disorder and survivors of narcissistic abuse. She is also experienced in providing evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder, and working with people who have experienced trauma. Josephine mainly uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy (ST) in her work.
