Dr Ulahannan has Specialist Consultant experience in Endocrinology since 2000.
He was Director of the Rural Clinical School Bundaberg, University of Queensland and Director of Clinical Training for Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
Before coming to Australia in 2013, he was Consultant Endocrinologist at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in the United Kingdom for 12 years. In the UK, was Research Lead for the Division of Medicine and specialist areas in Endocrinology such as pituitary disorders, neuroendocrine tumours and insulin pumps.
He qualified from the University of Leeds, UK with distinction, obtained MRCP from The Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, London and FRACP from The Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Sydney. He undertook specialist Training in Endocrinology in Oxford, UK.
