Dr Te-Yu Hung is a Paediatrician who joined the Darwin Paediatrics team in 2018. She started medical school at the University of Western Australia, started her paediatrics training at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Perth. In 2016 she moved to Darwin with her family to continue her specialties work at the Royal Darwin Hospital. She hasn’t looked back since!
Dr Hung enjoys caring for children of all ages. She is particularly experienced in unsettled babies, bedwetting, allergies, school difficulties, growth concerns, complicated and recurrent infections.
She also enjoys looking are patients with constipation, asthma, eczema. In 2018 she received a Master’s Degree related to original work on prevention of infections in children with impaired immune systems. This work was published in the peer-reviewed journal Cancer.
In her spare time Dr Hung loves to spend time with her husband and two children. She enjoys the tropical food and weather, outdoor lifestyle, and the pristine countrythat only the Top End can offer.
