Dr Melissa Overton completed her training in the Illawarra region before returning to Coogee where she grew up to join general practice with her mother Lyn.
Melissa enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has a particular interest in paediatrics, women’s health and sexual health.
She has completed her National certificate in family planning and Diploma of Child Health through Westmead Children’s hospital. Melissa offers insertion of Implanons and IUDs including Mirenas. Melissa also has an interest in dermatology and skin cancer medicine and performs minor procedures and excisions.
When not working Melissa loves to spend time with her husband Matt, daughter Mabel and Labradoodle, Horace. They love swimming down at the beach whenever they get the chance.
