Jo studied medicine at Imperial College, London along with Sarah and Rob. Following this she completed her GP training in south east England and, prior to moving to Australia in 2011, was a partner in a GP practice in Faversham, Kent. Since arriving here, she has been working in a practice in the outer east of Melbourne and is excited to have now joined the Mornington Peninsula community.
Jo enjoys all aspects of general practice and, in particular, the opportunity to care for patients from all walks of life at all stages of their lives. Whilst she has interests in women’s health and minor surgery, her main passion is for lifestyle medicine. Jo loves supporting patients to improve their general health through making lifestyle changes, focussing on all aspects of their well-being from nutrition to fitness, sleep and much more.
When not at work, Jo can be found either singing in a choir (or the car), knitting hats for family and friends or keeping active whilst exploring the local area by foot or on two wheels.
