Dr Jasmin Morey (Geriatrician)

Dr Jasmin Morey studied Medicine and Arts at Melbourne University in Victoria, completing her undergraduate training at St Vincent’s and Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne and at Princess Alexandra in Queensland. Dr Morey works at Caulfield Hospital in the Wound Clinic and across Monash Health sites specialising in Geriatric Medicine.

She is passionate about all aspects of geriatrics from acute illness to chronic complex care and rehabilitation, with special interests including wounds with delayed healing, delirium, dementia and behavioural problems with a particular focus on holistic patient-centred care. Where possible she works with patients and their carers on de-prescribing and preventative medicine for optimising their well-being, aiming to prevent future illness. Dr Morey is an advocate for improving access to high quality integrated health care for older Australians as well as environmental and humanitarian causes. She is endlessly entertained by two school aged children and enjoys time at the beach. Her other interests include: gardening and reading.
