Dr Molnar completed her general medical degree and her specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in Hungary in 1995. After this she moved to Sydney with her Australian husband she embarked on a long journey to be recognized as a Medical Doctor first and subsequently as a Specialist Anaesthetist by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
Dr Molnar has a VMO Anaesthetist appointment at Blacktown Public Hospital, where she provides anaesthesia for emergency and elective surgery in a wide range of surgical sub-specialities. She also teaches anaesthetic trainees and medical students in the operating theatre.
Dr Molnar has a busy private practice at Westmead Private Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and at Northside West Hospital. At Norwest Private hospital she has been appointed to be the Supervisor of Training for Intensive Care Registrars during their anaesthetic training module.
Dr Molnar’s main interests are obstetric and gynecological anaesthesia. Her practice also includes interventional cardiac, general and plastic surgical anaesthesia. She regularly provides anaesthesia for endoscopic procedures and ECTs as well.
In 2011 Dr Molnar was involved in a humanitarian medical/surgical mission in the Philippines.
